Kids lose teeth. But wait, they grow back. Some of them at least. So far all our kids teeth have been lost without the help of pavements, baseball bats or skateboards. Well, The match up I hoped for between The Dodgers and The Red Sox has vanished. As fall reluctantly shows itself in southern California with temps hitting near 90, wild fires dropping ashes on our porch and early voting just starting I reluctantly rolled out the tv to watch game 2 of The World Series [...]

There seems to be some correlation between “closing time” and loud sounds. Drinking alcohol seems to escalate the sound of throwing up, the phrases of good night and I [...]

Wednesdays are half days at my kids’ school. This Wednesday I  have thought of something exciting fun and FREE to do.  Today we go in search of Gambusia Affinius (mosquito fish) for our small pond.
I had some vague idea where to get the Gambusias. A triangular building near Sepulveda blvd. and Jefferson blvd. is my only [...]
